About Ladies that Launder

Ladies that Launder was originally established in Stoke Lane, Westbury-on-Trym in 2008.

As our name suggests we are a laundry service run by business partners Jane and Alex. We are both local girls who after many years of working and travelling elsewhere have now returned to North West Bristol to start a new venture.

We were in fact at the same school in Bristol for a while but we did not meet until 2013. Alex needed her Duvet washing and as luck would have it Jane was on hand to get the job done, the rest, as they say, is history.

We both have a clear philosophy – our business must be fun, for us and for our customers. So we pride ourselves not only on the quality of our laundering, but also on the warm, friendly and humorous ambience in our shop. Many of our customers tell us that they appreciate the banter as much as the washing and ironing.

We like to take an interest in the local community, supporting local Schools and a range of charitable events whenever we can.

We feel that we are part of a strong local community. We know many of our customers well and we will always adapt our services to meet their needs. We have a lot of fun each day and we get real pleasure from delivering a quality service.

Laundry is an art as well as a science and our service is all about the people that come into our shop, not just their laundry. We know that our customers appreciate quality and by using the best products and equipment we ensure the best possible finish.
